Dams and Reservoirs

The EPDM membrane used in dams and reservoirs is known as EPDM geomembrane. The EPDM geomembrane is a durable and efficient material with high chemical stability. The geomembrane offers exceptional elasticity of over 300% that gives resistance against the mechanical stresses generated by the water pressure and the movements of the ground. The EPDM rubber geomembrane eliminates water leaks through exfiltration. Moreover, the geomebrane is the only material that withstand extreme climatic conditions without being influenced by exposure to UV and high temperature. Demonstrated service life of over 50 years and ease of installation recommends EPDM geomembrane as a premium solution for waterproofing dams and reservoirs.

The vulcanization technology in the press allows us to offer you the EPDM geomembrane according to your plans, no matter what they are. Dimensions up to 1500 square meters can thus be made in one piece! For larger projects the surface area ofthe basin is decomposed into modules up to 1500 square meters which are assembled on the spot with a mobile vulcanization press or with butyl bands.
